It's hard to get a good picture inside the bowling alley.  This was his SUPERFAST run back to the table after rolling the ball. It's important to stretch your arms back like that, to make yourself more aerodynamic.

Would you look at the haircut on this boy?  Why would they cut his bangs like that?  Why?  It looks cute on his sister - I'm not really sold on the manliness of the hairstyle, though.

Short bangs girl = geek chic.

Short bangs boy = geek.

Whatever.  I've still got it.

How can you tell Jonas didn't get enough sleep last night?

Because he climbed back into bed around 10:30 in the morning.  I went looking to find out what trouble he was getting into that was keeping him so quiet, and found this. (He was recharging, so he could get into even BIGGER trouble later.)

and the kids were so cute I took 4,000 pictures.

When we got home, we made newspaper hats.  Jonas was sooo thrilled by the hat, it was impossible to get a decent picture of him. But I'm putting this blurry one up here, anyway, as a reminder of how much fun we had.

but I'm almost positive that she was "being Aunty Suz" here.  I say this, because after putting on the wig she watched some reality tv, bought some new shoes, then took a 4 hour nap.

Oh, now this game I know.  The one where your brother is doing something that causes Mommy to get out the camera, so you quickly join in with whatever ridiculous thing he's doing so you can get in the pictures, too?  Yeah - that game I'm familiar with.

Violet had a friend over.

They were very busy in the living room for a while, and after they retired to the back of the house this is what I found.  I guess the princesses were hungry.

This is me, trying to get a shot of the nightgown I made her.

She would not stop moving around, playing with the barbies, etc.

So no great pictures of the gown, plenty of fun pictures of the Twink. (Look at the deltoids on that kid! She's buff!)
