August 2007

04 August

I heard the sound of Windows starting up, looked around the corner and saw this.  T R O U B L E.

08 August

Here we have photographic proof to back up my constant denials to Joe.  He's always giving me hell for leaving my shoes all over the house and my response is "But I didn't even WEAR those shoes today!"

09 August

This tub may not be as big as the one in our other house...

but its still *totally* big enough to have a pool party in. You know, if you're three.

12 August

The only way to travel.

Well, maybe one of these bikes is a cool way to roll, too.

Or maybe not.

Jaynie seems to like it.

Ooh!  Cute picture alert!  Look at them smiling and laughing together!

Interesting.  My family is looking at Becky's camera, and hers is looking at mine. Maybe we should trade photo files.

Ooh.  Not the best. Let's try again...

Better. Maybe. At least I have Madam's attention.

And there goes the attention.

Now the Dads are looking too. I'm going to assume there was a very interesting boat out there.  (This bike was awesome.  The kids loved it, the Dads bitched and moaned about how hard it was to pedal.  Fun for the whole family.)

The Moms chose to ride this train w/ the kiddos, instead of taking a turn with the Bike of Death.  We're no  fools.

Two tired girls.

Tired? HA!

"We're just snuggling while we wait for the pizza."

And no, we won't smile for the camera.  So there!

15 August

This is how Madam walked to the park.

This is how Jonas kidnapped her baby as soon as her back was turned.  Very "Runaway Train".

What?  I was just taking her for a little walk!

This is one of those slides that he shoots right off the bottom of.  Hysterical.

And those flushed cheeks mean its time to head back to the wonderful world of central A/C.

18 August

Aww.  Cute girls in sundresses...

And a pretty fountain.  If only they would LOOK AT ME AND SMILE.

Of course, when they do the lighting is too lousy to see it.

These boys are cute though, eh?

19 August

Its the Moores in front of the Trevi Fountain!  Wait! Jonas isn't looking!

Ack - now he's looking at Jaynie.  The camera!  Look at the camera!

Well - you get everyone's face here, but Joe and I are starting to look kind of tired of smiling.  Maybe these won't be the Christmas card after all...

Smiling photo.

"Gangsta" photo.

From quite far away, Joe catches the girls splashing in the fountain even though we JUST TOLD THEM not to.  Huh. Maybe those of us down there with them should've been keeping a closer eye on the little angels.

This guy was just sitting on a bench, so of course they had to sit down with him for a photo.  Too cute.

Joe got this shot of me chasing Jonas around the Pantheon.  That kid is fast.  He gets freaked out if he's too far away from me in a crowd, but he never checks to see if I'm behind him. Just runs off and assumes I'll keep up.  Maynerd.

The. Best. Gelato. In. Rome.  Holy cow - it was so good.

Not everyone got to experience the wonder that was this gelato shop.  Don't worry, his cone didn't go to waste.  Heh heh heh.

23 August

Do I need a caption for this?

25 August

Because why would you pull Mega Blocks around in the wagon, when you can push your brother down the hall instead?

30 August

Here we have the "Cupcakes for no reason" party.

What's a party without silly hats?

Honestly - the "reason" is to get great pics like these.

Come ON!

The cuteness is overwhelming here.

You give a kid a cupcake, and they are yours for the rest of the day.

Or better yet - you can hold it over them until they get it.  "You'd better behave if you want that cupcake!" (The frosting on the nose here kills me.)

Could this girl look more angelic?  Look what cream cheese frosting does to her!

Speaking of cream cheese frosting...

Delicious. Oh, the cupcakes were good, too. =)
