Cheese.
Oh, come on honey. You can do better than that!
CHEESE!
Jaynie, Baby Aurora, and Jonas lounging in my bed.
Yes, that boy doll's name is now Baby Aurora. Clearly, Madam
watches too much Sleeping Beauty. (AKA "Sleeping Blooty")
I can't help it! I must take picures!
GASP! I'm shocked by that, Mom!
Naw - I'm just kidding.
How could you not take my picture? Look how cute I am!
Snap away, woman. These cheeks need to be preserved on film!
We went to a kiddie Valentine party and these are the only 2 pictures I
managed to take.
Jaynie eating rice crispie treat and goldfish crackers. Oh,
well. If you ask her about the party she'll just tell you about that
treat anyway. Apparently, it was the highlight.
More of Jaynie eating.
Really, Mom. The people at home are going to think I just snack
all day long (she does. Maybe this is the problem - she's never NOT
eating.)
Oh my good LORD! Look how cute this kid is!
Be sure to get my good side, Mom.
Oh what am I saying? They're both good sides!
I am, after all, the HeartBreaker.
Look out, ladies.
Uh, oh. The HeartBreaker seems to be getting agitated.
That did the trick.
Hey, kids? Could you get a little closer together please?
Um, maybe one without a yawn?
I took about 300 pictures of them - this was the best one. Oh
well.
Whoa. I'd forgotten how ginormous my head looks next to a
newborn's.
Come here, Jaynie...
Ah, yes. That's better.
There we go. Me and my babies. I put make-up on for this,
so enjoy it.
If you look closely, you will see that Madam is still in the
picture. She's just trying to hide behind my enormous head.
She totally used to fit in this chair.
No, really. I have proof.
Oh, hi Mommy!
"I'm playing with Baby Jonas's toys!"
CHEEESE!
Yay! More fun with paint!
"Lookit all the colors, Mommy!"
If that's not a kid planning to cause trouble, I don't know who
is. Look at that face!
I don't know what you're talking about, Mom. What trouble could I
possible cause?
Now - how about you run to the bathroom for a few minutes and leave me
alone with the paint? What? You can trust me!
Tea party in Jaynie's room! Everyone's invited!
Even her baby brother!
Doesn't he look thrilled?
I love that they both had to have bibs on for this party.
Pretend tea can get pretty messy, don't you know.
Oh, it's you again.
Look, Mom, I'm really not in the mood to have my picture taken right
now.
I claw my face in protest.
Owww! Look what you made me do!
Yaaawn. All this whining can really take it out of you.
ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Hee hee!
Whoa. I just had the weirdest dream...
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Wha? No - I'm up. I was just resting my eyes! Jeez.
Bundled up for the snow, and NOT happy about it.
SNOW!!!
Huh. This means that there's a video out there of me taking
pictures.
Jaynie LOVED playing in the snow.
Jonas was less impressed.
He doesn't know what he's missing! This is great!
Forget catching snowflakes on your tongue.
Jaynie has a much more efficient way of consuming it.
"I can't put my arms down!"
Hey. That wasn't funny, Mommy.
I'm just going to walk over here and look for another big ice chunk...
Oooohh. found one.
Look at that pink nose. Almost time to go inside.
Whatever! I'm never going back inside!
It's waaaaay too much fun out here!
I passed off the baby to his Dad.
He slept through the transaction. Guess all that screaming
earlier really wore him out.
And that was our snow adventure, 2006. =)
Holy COW!
Mommy, did you know about this stuff before, and just not tell me?
It's ok, I forgive you!
How can I hold a grudge, when there's pudding to eat?
OMG - soooo good!
It should be mentioned that she got this pudding as a reward for using
the potty.
Do I know how to motivate a kid or what?
Come on, buddy. Just one little smile for the camera?
Pleeease? It would mean so much to me if you'd let me capture
that handsome smile of yours on film!
Yay! There it is, folks. First photographed smile. =)
Whaaaat is going on here?
Huh? Oh, nothing. I'm just snuggling George.
(Whether he likes it or not.)
Caught in the act.
Slow dancing with Elmo.
Yes, we're dancing. You wanna make something of it?
"Look at Mommy, Elmo! Smile, Elmo!"
Time for some reading.
I'd like to take this opportunity to make it clear that I did not do
her hair. She did this all on her own.
Well SOMEBODY had to do my hair, Mommy. Jeesh - you haven't even
gotten me out of my pajamas yet!
Ok, Elmo, time to read a book.
See the pig, Elmo? P-I-G - pig!
It's kind of short on plot, but the pictures are nice, huh!
At this point, I'm surprised the pics came out at all.
I would think they would all be blurry, because I was laughing so hard
the camera was shaking all over the place.
She's holding Elmo up with one hand, and turning the pages with the
other.
And in this way, she is "sitting on his lap" while reading
him a story.
"Goodnight, moon. Goodnight light and the red
balloon....."
Back at the Children's Museum of Memphis, and having a blast.
Say "AAAAAAAAHH"! You know, you really shouldn't
neglect your gums like this..."
Who wants to ride a rocking horse?
Rocking giraffes are definitely the way to go!
Woo! Look at those good looking fire-fighters!
Don't worry, folks. Help has arrived.
I don't know if I can take a paramedic in pink socks and mary janes
seriously.
